Information
The CISCO Administration, Occupational Skills Award is intended to provide instruction to prepare students for CCNA certification. The course curriculum comes directly from the Cisco Networking Academy and is aligned with certifcation exam objectives. Students receive hands-on instruction utilizing Cisco equipment, in addition to experiencing virtual labs and simulations using packet tracer.
The 12 hour award is embedded in semesters 2-4 of the Networking Technologies AAS degree (Cisco Red Hat Linux Administration specialization). All Cisco courses have prerequisites intended to better prepare students for workforce entry and certification success.
